Description

...Betsy was swept away by the flood, Clarabelle tried to follow her and get her out of the water. For a mere second Clarabelle was close to pulling her out but Betsy's hand slipped and she was gone. Horace jumped in and swam to Betsy and got her, but it was too late they were both out of Clarabelle's sight. Clarabelle couldn't believe that the love of her life and her only niece, the one that felt like a daughter to her were gone.

Later that night, Clarabelle joined a rescue crew to find survivors of the dreaded flood, she looked around and soon saw hand holding on to a tree branch. When they reached to that area, Clarabelle couldn't believe her eyes, it was Horace and Betsy was wrapped in his arm. Both of them didn't look well. When they were pulled in to the raft, Clarabelle tried to check if they were alive. She quickly realized Horace's left leg was broken since his leg was trapped between two rocks.

Horace woke up coughing water shivering, Clarabelle was relieved he was alright, but both were extremely worried for Betsy's life. For five whole minutes Betsy was not breathing and her heartbeat was faint. Clarabelle cradled Betsy in her arms fearing the worst. Suddenly she heard coughing and felt Betsy shivering. Both Horace and Clarabelle were happy she was alive...

aww beautiful story it is so cute :heart;

XD just love the rescue and the terrifying feeling of her niece almost dying it was really tragic indeed. You did a wonderful job on writing this XD and a awesome drawing to boot!
