She knew that his happiness was her own happiness and walked the ledge of the dock. The Prince ran out to stop her realizing who she was and remembered she saved him, but knew she was dying he was never gonna make it. His tears were welding up knowing that he would never be able to be with her, to break her spell, and free her. Finally he made it only to find she was gone.

The once Mermaid Princess had fallen into the ocean dead, her body sank deeper as she slowly turned to sea foam. But as her body slowly changed she felt she was lifted higher and higher out of the ocean more like the sky and stars. She felt pure for she finally gained her soul and was ascending to heaven.

The Prince fell to his knees and began to mourn; his heart was broken just like her's.He saw something shining, it was her pearl ring, he held it in his hands and lifted his head towards the sky and vowed he would wait for her when he entered heaven.
