Description

So I decided to do a little side collection I call "Maple Street", it's not gonna be a fanfic or anything like that trust me HoraceLand and Interstellar Detectives are the main priorities in that department. It's just I've always loved having fun with costume designing and my theme for the next two months are candy and sweets

Hello there Dalia~Its always nice to help a watcher, you could have asked me before I started this project tee hee
So lets get started.

On this drawing  you sucessfully  made an expressive gesture. Anatomy, perspective and proportions seems pretty nice. now what I believe you should work firstly is on line quality. Usign a brush with pressure set to size where a double sided edge on your drawing. While on some places you could properly set the weight of the line some others you either put too much weight or too low. See for example the lack of the weight on the hat tip or the amount of weight on the shirt's tails. It also defeats a bit the 3D feeling of some objects like the top of the cane.

Also the hand that is holding the cane could be improved. While the second finger is bigger than the the indicator, the third one is smaller than the first finger.

Some details could be done better such as the hat and hair white brushes since they looks shaky.

Also the lineart color is something to be debated. The main reason we use lineart is to show contrast. Usually they seemed on real life as shadows. others contrasts are made by light. Anyways this means that using this saturation and brightness of red have a lot of consequences that aren't always nice for our eyes. While of course this on questions is left to what effect you desire and the stylization. I would put my 2 cents that at least using a dark red would improve the drawing.

This is what I could say about your drawing Dalia. I hope this prove useful nyan~♥
